The Ono Custom is a Gunpla appearing in the video game Gundam Breaker Mobile. It is piloted by the Gunpla shop owner Masayoshi Ono.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
A kitbashed Gunpla which, like all of Ono's custom builds, draws primarily from Zeon sources. Though this custom model borrows predominantly from the MS-18E Kämpfer, it also has parts from non-UC model kits, such as Gafran arms and the chest of a GN-X. It specializes in high defense and explosive firepower.
Armaments[]
- 60mm Vulcan Gun
- Inherited from the Kämpfer head are two Vulcan guns. These shell firing weapons have high rate of fire but very low power, though repeated hits can stagger an opponent and lower defense.
- Beam Vulcan/Beam Saber
- Owing to its Gafran arms, the Ono Custom has beam Vulcans in its hands, though they go unused in game. In addition to being a ranged weapon, both beam Vulcans can also generate a short beam saber for close range combat.
- Beam Saber
- The Ono Custom's legs hold two beam sabers, one stored in each thigh, though they go unused in game.
- A simplified, disposable rocket launcher. Two units are stored on the mounting hardpoints on the Ono Custom's legs.
- Raketen Bazooka
- A heavy bazooka which fires rocket-propelled explosive rounds. It is taken from the Dom Tropen.
- Large Heat Hawk
- An axe for close combat. The cutting edge of the blade can be superheated to increase its cutting power. The blade is larger than that of the standard Zaku heat hawk and it also has a spike at its top. The Ono Custom has the Charge Axe skill, which charges the axe, raising the user's melee attack power, before they furiously spin forward, leaping into the air and crashing the charged axe back down onto the opponant.
- Shield
- The Ono Custom mounts a Geara Doga shield on its left forearm. This physical shield mounts a pair of two-tube grenade launchers, and four Sturm Faust rocket launchers.
- Grenade Launcher
- A pair of small, two-tubed, multi-launchers are mounted in the shield which can work as smoke dischargers or fire grenades.
- Sturm Faust
- A single-use tube rocket launcher. The Geara Doga's shield includes a rack which carries four Sturm Fausts. The Sturm Fausts may be removed from the rack and fired as handheld weapons, or fired directly from the rack.
Special Equipment & Features[]
- Saturn Engine
- The Zudah back gives the Ono Custom the Saturn Engine, which uses heavy elements to achieve greater thrust. When activated the Ono Custom gains a significant speed and boost increase, albeit at a cost of lowered defense.
History[]
One of the many custom builds of Masayoshi Ono, he would use this Gunpla in a practice battle against Sana Miyama and Ryusei Fudou, who were training with Ono and Nishi for the Interhigh Preliminary Tournament while Touma was recuperating from a bout of exhaustion. It was Ono's last build until the next year, when he used a new custom Gunpla to compete in the second Gunpla Guerrilla Battle.
The Ono Custom also appears as the boss of "A New Challenge," the initial mission in the "Challenge from Ono," a series of high-difficulty Event challenges for players. The Ono Custom is supported by two Kaiser Busters during the mission.

Notes & Trivia[]
- The Large Heat Hawk that the Ono Custom uses as a melee weapon is attributed to Garma Zabi's Zaku II Type FS in Gundam Breaker Mobile. Though Garma's Zaku II does have its own unique heat hawk, this large heat hawk design is better known as belonging to Dozle Zabi's Zaku II, though one was also used by a Zaku II Type FS piloted by Shin Matsunaga.
- Ono pilots several other kitbashed Gunpla in multiple Story Mission matches against the player, but they all share a core Zeon theme, at times utilizing parts from a Zaku II, Zaku II Commander, Mobile Worker, Gouf, Gyan, Efreet Custom and Gelgoog High Mobility Type, in addition to Kämpfer parts.
