The Oceanian Federation (オセアニア連邦, Oseania Renpō^?), is a faction featured in the Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS television series. The Oceanian Federation's territories include East Asia, Southeast Asia, Oceania and most of South Asia (excluding Afghanistan and Pakistan). They also had a territory on Mars, but following the McGillis Fareed Incident, the territory was granted to the newly formed Martian Union.

The Oceanian Federation is centered around Southern Asia and Oceania.

Martian Territories

After the Calamity War, Mars was divided up into territories, each of which were ruled by Earth's factions. The Oceanian Federation government later gave limited autonomy to this territory.

The Oceanian Federation's government had given limited autonomy to its Martian territories.

After Togonosuke Makanai is exiled, he fled to a remote island in the Oceanian Federation where he heard about Kudelia Aina Bernstein's speech where she condemned Gjallarhorn's treatment of the Dort Colonies' inhabitants.

When Kudelia managed to arrive on Earth and meet Makanai, the Oceanian Federation granted Tekkadan asylum in their territories on Earth and space colonies. This was done to thank Kudelia and Tekkadan for helping the Dort Company workers get working conditions similar to what most companies on Earth have. This will cause the African Union's productivity to drop which the other economic blocs, including the Oceanian Federation, take advantage of.

Against procedure, Carta Issue launched an attack on the island to destroy Tekkadan and capture Kudelia and Makanai. The battle between Tekkadan and the Outer Earth Orbit Regulatory Joint Fleet resulted in many casualties, including Biscuit Griffon, but Tekkadan, Kudelia and Makanai escape onboard a tanker.

After the Dort Incident, the Oceanian Federation's space colonies started their own freedom movements. Rustal Elion dispatched Iok Kujan's Second Fleet alongside Julieta Juris and Vidar to suppress an insurrection instigated by one of these rebel movements at the Federation's colony cluster in Lagrange 5, which they accomplish without issue.
