The OZ-13MSX1B-S Vayeate Suivant is the upgraded version of the Vayeate developed by OZ and operated by the OZ Prize. It appeared in Gundam Wing Dual Story: G-UNIT.
Combat Characteristics
Whereas the Mercurius Suivant was designed as a defensive mobile suit, the Suivant was designed primarily as an offensive unit. The Vayeate Suivant, built from the same basic frame as its Mercurius Suivant twin, was armed with two large beam cannons. These cannons were designed to provide a damaging blow almost equivalent to that of the XXXG-01W Wing Gundam's powerful buster rifle. To overcome the problem of the buster rifle's limited charge, the Vayeate Suivant is fitted with two large energy collectors, providing the Vayeate Suivant's beam cannons with a virtually limitless "ammunition" charge. Both the Mercurius Shuivan and Vayeate Shuivan were used as testbeds for the OZ-00MS2B Tallgeese III. As the Mercurius and Vayeate were painted red and blue respectively, Mercurius Suivant was painted in all white while Vayeate Suivant was painted in all black.
Trivia
Vayeate Suivant's motif is derived from the Fujin, a mythical demon in Japanese Mythology.
