The OZ-13MSX1B-S Vayeate Suivant is the upgraded version of the OZ-13MSX1 Vayeate developed by OZ and operated by the OZ Prize. It appeared in New Mobile Report Gundam Wing Dual Story: G-Unit.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

Whereas the Mercurius Suivant was designed as a defensive mobile suit, the Vayeate Suivant was designed primarily as an offensive unit. The Vayeate Suivant, built from the same basic frame as its Mercurius Suivant twin, was armed with two large beam cannons. These cannons were designed to be as powerful as the XXXG-01W Wing Gundam's buster rifle but unlike the latter, they do not have the 3 shot limitations due to two energy collectors on its back. Both the Mercurius Suivant and Vayeate Suivant were used as testbeds for the OZ-00MS2B Tallgeese III. As the Mercurius and Vayeate were painted red and blue respectively, Mercurius Suivant was painted in all white while Vayeate Suivant was painted in all black.

• Beam Cannons

A set of powerful Beam Cannons that was designed to give a devastating blow to its enemies, almost as effective as the buster rifle of the XXXG-01W Wing Gundam. These cannons have virtually limitless "ammunition" charge due to the 2 large energy collectors mounted to back of the Vayeate Suivant. It is one of the few weapons powerful enough to melt through Gundanium Alloy.

• Beam Generators

These external energy generators serve to power the Vayeate Suivant's beam cannons. Their covers open to dissipate the heat produced when energy production is at its peak.

History

The Vayeate Suivant was piloted by Soris Armonia in the service of OZ Prize and fought against Odin Bernett and Roche Nattono. It was destroyed by the Grand Chariot's beam cannon on the orders of Valder Farkill when he deemed the Armonia sisters to be no longer of any use to him. Miraculously, Soris survived this.

Notes & Trivia

• Vayeate Suivant's motif is derived from the Fujin, a mythical demon in Japanese Mythology.
• "Suivant" is French for "Following", possibly referencing the Vayeate Suivant as a design "following", or succeeding, the original Vayeate.
