Template:Infobox/Mobile Weapon Ver.2 The OZ-00MSVa Tallgeese Valkyrie is a custom mobile suit and a variant of the OZ-00MS Tallgeese, it is featured in the Gundam Build Fighters anime series.
Technology & Combat Characteristics
The OZ-00MSVa Tallgeese Valkyrie is a Gunpla built by Greco Logan, the United States champion who had achieved high rankings in previous tournaments. Based on the OZ-00MS Tallgeese from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, its speed is greatly increased as each of the vernier thruster pods feature additional thrusters, one at the top and the other at the bottom, bringing the overall total to eight (four in each pod). Tallgeese Valkyrie is armed with a mega beam cannon for ranged combat, two beam sabers for close combat and a solid shield for defenses.
Armaments
- Mega Beam Cannon
- The signature weapon of the OZ-00MS2B Tallgeese III, which replaces the usual dober gun. It has two modes; a compact configuration which functions like a beam rifle, and a beam cannon mode where the barrel splits open and extends. The beam cannon mode is nearly as powerful as the twin buster rifle of the Wing Zero.
- Beam Saber
- The beam saber is a small cylindrical device held in the mobile suit's hands when in use and generates a beam blade for close combat. The Tallgeese Valkyrie is equipped with a pair of beam sabers stored in a recharge rack located at the back of the shield.
- Shield
- A defensive equipment, it hangs off the left shoulder of the Tallgeese Valkyrie.
History
The Tallgeese Valkyrie was the main gunpla used by United States champion, Greeco Logan, who had achieved high rankings in previous tournaments. During the USA Regional Finals, it battled against newcomer, Nils Nielsen to qualify for the World Tournament. And despite giving its all, it was defeated in every turn by Nils' Sengoku Astray, who sliced through its ranged attacks, cut through its melee attacks, sliced both its forearms off, and eventually obliterated the Tallgeese with a mysterious attack by manipulating Plavsky particles.
Trivia
- Despite being called Valkyrie, the unit still retains the regular Knight motif found in the Tallgeese normally.
