The OMSM-07RF RF Z'Gok is a mobile suit used by the Mars Zeon in the video game Mobile Suit Gundam F91: Formula Report 0122.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
The RF Z'Gok is an amphibious mobile suit developed by Mars Zeon based on the old Principality of Zeon's MSM-07 Z'Gok but built with the latest technology, drastically improving its performance compared to its predecessor. Its ground combat capabilities are greatly improved and in addition to better mobility on the ground, it also has enhanced firepower with the original Z'Gok's arm-mounted claws being replaced by heat claws with integrated beam cannons. The hydrojets on its back enable long-term underwater operation, allowing it to function like a submarine.
Armaments[]
- Anti-Ship/Anti-Air Missile
- Six missile launchers are mounted in the top of the RF Z'Gok's head. These missiles can only be fired in relation to the vertical alignment of the torso. The missiles can be fired underwater but they have low resistance to hydrostatic pressure. They are mainly used after surfacing or landing on the shore, as well as for anti-aircraft purposes.
- Beam Shower
- The beam shower functions similarly to the scattering beam gun found in the Dom series. Two are mounted on the RF Z'Gok's chest
- Beam Cannon
- The Z'Gok has a pair of beam cannons powered directly by the mobile suit's reactor. They are located in the center of each arm between the claws. These function as the Z'Gok's primary offensive weapon.
- Heat Claw
- Replacing the original Z'Gok's iron nails, the RF Z'Gok is armed with heat claws on its hands for melee combat. Mounted on the ends of the flexible arms, they are primarily used as close-combat weapons. Taking advantage of the Z'Gok's high mobility, it can punch through the torso of a mobile suit.
History[]
When the Mars Zeon faction stationed on Mars invaded the Earth Sphere in UC 0122, they brought mobile suits that resembled those of the old Principality of Zeon's, but had greater capabilities than the AMS-119 Geara Doga. Even though the development of aquatic mobile suits by the Earth Federation Forces had stagnated greatly, a war still cannot be won on a single front.
In U.C 0122 a detachment of Oldsmobile Forces stationed in Pacific Ocean ambushed the Earth Federation Forces's Garuda Class "Garwish", but the battle cut short by the appearance of Gundam F90 V Type piloted by Bergh Schred and manage to takedown at least three RF Z'goks and a Mad Angler Class.[1] Later another RF Z'gok appears during Oldsmobile Earth Forces assaulted a EFF Spaceports trying to ambush the Gundam F90 W type, but the attempt failed as the Gundam transformation caught the RF Z'gok pilot by surprise and it got destroyed immediately by the Gundam.[1]

- Despite the offical artwork portraying the RF Z'Gok as blue and black, in the SNES game Mobile Suit Gundam F91: Formula Report 0122 it appears in green and tan.
