This RF Gelgoog was developed in the U.C. 0120s by Oldsmobile (Mars Independent Zeon Army) to resemble the appearance of the former Zeon's [[MS-14 Gelgoog]]. It is more mobile than the RF Zaku, the flagship MS of the army, and although it is has the highest-class performance among MS operated by the army, the number of production is small because of the high cost, resulting in it being assigned to only senior commanders or ace pilots. It has a very high compatibility in terms of armament and maintainability by adopting a unit common to the RF Dom as the design base.
Built by the [[Mars Zeon]] stationed on [[Mars]], the RF Gelgoog resembled the old [[MS-14 Gelgoog]] series of mobile suits. Although it resembled the older mobile suit, the RF Gelgoog had a redesigned internal structure featuring modern parts and designs. This in turn allowed the RF Gelgoog to have a performance on par with modern mobile suits.

:The twin beam sword, also known as a beam naginata, is the RF Gelgoog's main close combat weapon. The beam sword operates by generating a beam of plasma contained and shaped by an I-field. Because of the heat of the plasma, the beam sword can cut through any alloy. The twin beam sword's handle is about twice that of average beam saber hilts, and has an emitter at both ends, allowing it to create two beam blades. When not in use, the twin beam sword is stored in the backpack.

The RF Gelgoog actually outperformed the RF Zaku which was the mainstay mobile suit of the Oldsmobile army. However the unit was highly costly and was only produced in limited numbers that were regulated to high-ranking officers or ace pilots.

Template:Infobox/Mobile Weapon Ver.2The RF Gelgoog is a mobile suit used by Mars Zeon in the video game Mobile Suit Gundam F91: Formula Report 0122.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

This RF Gelgoog was developed in the U.C. 0120s by Oldsmobile (Mars Independent Zeon Army) to resemble the appearance of the former Zeon's MS-14 Gelgoog.

Armaments

  • Twin Beam Sword
The same close-range melee weapon as used by the normal Gelgoog, it is also known as a beam naginata. Its handle is about the length of two beam saber hilts and has a beam emitter at both ends, allowing it to generate two beam blades by containing and shaping plasma via an I-Field. The weapon can cut through most armor not treated with anti-beam coating. It can also generate only a beam blade on one end. When not in use, it is stored on the backpack.
  • 2-tube Missile Launcher
Mounted on both forearms, the missiles fired are moderately powerful self-propelling explosives that can deal significant damage to a mobile suit.
  • Beam Rifle
Standard range weapon that fires a directed and concentrated burst of mega particles. Can penetrate most materials that have not been treated with an anti-beam countermeasure.
  • Beam Bazooka
The beam bazooka utilizes the technology of a beam rifle on a slightly larger scale. The beam bazooka fires slower moving mega particles, causing its beam to widen and allowing the beam to cause damage over a greater area, ideal for dealing with battleships or catching multiple mobile suits off-guard.
