Nyla Bertran (ナイラ・バートラン Naira Bātoran?) is a character from Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury PROLOGUE. A Vanadis Institute researcher, she served as an operator and participated in the testing of the Gundam Lfrith [1].

Nyla was working in the laboratory at Fólkvangr when Eri floated in to get Elnora to come to her birthday party. Nyla asked Eri how old she was, to which she answered four [2].
Nyla promises to treat Wendy to something after she helps her move cargo.
When the Begavent docked, she went to get Wendy, who was by the Gundam Lfrith Pre-Production Models, to help her move cargo. Wendy complained about recent tariff create increases but Nyla reminded her that transporation wasn't free. Wendy's response was that the Spacians were unreasonably monopolizing it. As Wendy gulped a liquid bubble floated from Nyla's bottle in the microgravity environment, she was convinced to help Nyla though called it "cheating" [2].
Nyla's death
Later, she noticed smoke grenades in the hallways but was shot dead by Cathedra shortly after warning Wendy to run. To avenge her death, Wendy launched in an Lfrith Pre-Production Model [2].
