Nassius Kircher (ナシウス・キルヒャ) or better known as Jack in Diamond (ジャック・イン・ダイヤ) appears in Mobile Fighter G Gundam as a member of the Shuffle Alliance and pilots the Shuffle Diamond. He also appears in the manga Mobile Fighter G Gundam: 7th Fight as the pilot of the GF7-019NF Eiffel Gundam for Neo France.
History[]
Nassius arrives in Shinjuku with Tris and the other Shuffle Alliance just in time to save current King of Hearts and Neo Japan representative Domon Kasshu from Master Asia in his GF13-001NHII Master Gundam and the DG cell corrupted Gundam fighters of Neo America, Neo France, Neo China, and Neo Russia. Their reason for their arrival was to confront Master Asia for betraying their ideologies, in which case Master Asia's betrayal had to be paid for with his life. Master Asia is more than willing to fight his former allies and teammates with the infected fighters, but a plea from Domon convinces Master Asia to avoid bloodshed for the moment and withdraw. However, Master Asia declares that his relationship with Domon is now dissolved, and next time they meet, he will destroy Domon and the Alliance, before taking his leave with the infected fighters. When Domon tries to follow, Nassius and the others restrain him, reminding him that Master Asia just broke ties with Domon as master and student, so Domon could no longer call Master Asia his master anymore.
Later, when a JDG-009X Death Army mobile suit arrives to deliver a message to Domon that Master Asia wishes to see him at the Tokyo Tower, alone, the Shuffle Alliance suspect a trap, and they are proven right as Domon is ambushed by Master Asia and the infected Gundam fighters. Luckily for Domon, the Shuffle Alliance arrives, and Nassius squares off with Neo France's George de Sand before the infected fighters summon their Gundams, and the Shuffle Alliance summon theirs in turn. Upon discovering that the infected fighters are to be Domon's Shuffle Alliance allies, Nassius and the other members kamikaze the infected fighters, knocking them out cold, and Nassius sacrifices his life to purge George of his DG cells and pass the crest of the Jack in Diamond (Jack Of Diamonds in the English dub) to George. When George comes to, returned to normal, he's surprised to find his new emblem on the back of his hand. When told of what happened due to having no memory of his actions under the Devil Gundam's influence, it causes George to become traumatized to the point of having nightmares of Maria Louise being taken away by the Devil Gundam. Nevertheless, he offers to aid Domon as his ally and fight the Devil Gundam with him.
Nassius appears one more time to Master Asia after his defeat on Lantau Island against Domon to apologize to Master Asia for having not seen how wretched Master Asia felt after seeing the damage the Gundam Fights wrought on Earth and made him feel unworthy to be their leader and King of Hearts because of it. They know now that they share some of that burden and have to trust that Domon and his Shuffle Alliance allies can help atone for their mistakes.
