Nabu (ナブ, Nabu^?) is a character introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX.

Personality & Character

He is a member of Kaneban Ltd., in other words, a members of the Pomeranians clan. He is the other fighter in Clan Battle for the clan.

Skills & Abilities

He is the one actually running their junk dealing business and is Annqi's right hand man.

History

Nabu was first seen along other Pomeranians/Kaneban's members Annqi, Kaine, and Jezzi when Amate Yuzuriha and Nyaan delivered the Installer Device to their hideout.

After Amate acquired the gMS-Ω GQuuuuuuX, Nabu believed the Gundam was too risky to keep and that they should sell it, however, Annqi disagreed. She even invited Amate to fight in their place, which Nabu was very much against it as he didn't want amateurs like her to get killed.

As Amate and Shūji kept winning, Kaine wondered if Shūji was really the Red Comet, however, Nabu rebuked him, saying the real Red Comet would not join clan battle with his wanted status. Later on, when he heard Annqi's explanation about Shiiko Sugai's motive and obsession for the gMS-α Red Gundam, he wondered if Shiiko was revenging her MAV.

Nabu, Kaine, and Jezzi were worried about Amate after she saw Shiiko getting killed during their previous clan battle, thinking it was because the young girl had been raised in a peaceful environment, thus, not getting used to bloodshed. However, Annqi begged to differ and successfully cheered her up while the boys could only stay aside. When Nyaan, wearing Amate's pilot suit, showed up and was getting in the GQuuuuuuX, he did notice something was different about her.

Nabu found out about Annqi's plan to sell out Shūji and the gMS-α Red Gundam and questioned why she would put a stop to their clan battle business right then, which Annqi answered that she felt their luck was going away very soon and they needed to stop before things got too bad for them. When Amate came out of hiding after hearing that conversation, he told her to stop participating in clan battle and to return to her normal life. This upset Amate but also fortified her resolve to bring Nyaan and Shūji to Earth.

The fight with the Twelve Olympians clan had been set, which, if the Pomeranians won, would bring them to the top of the leaderboard. Though, the spawn point was changed at the last minute, bringing the battle inside the Izuma colony. Jezzi and Kaine were planning to complain to the organizers when a Mobile Armor was brought into the fight, but Nabu stopped them and urged everyone to pack up. It was implied that he did run away with the other Pomeranians' members as their hideout was empty when Side 6 Military Police raided it. It was later revealed that they had been hiding in a backwater colony on a space ship and was going to scavenge the Solar Ray's remains for junk parts after its destruction.
