The NRX-044Q Asshimar [Danda-Chakra] is a custom variant of the NRX-044 Asshimar introduced in Advance of Zeta: The Traitor to Destiny.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

The NRX-044 Asshimar [Danda Chakra] is the rebuilt and enhanced version of Brader's damaged Asshimar. The unit has been equipped with thicker armor, a larger sensor array, and an antenna installed in the head. The thicker armor results in the mobile suit being larger and heavier. The mobile suit's mono-eye is on an x-shaped rail, and the four sub-cameras hidden by the visor of the original Asshimar are now visible. Both leg units are fully retractable, allowing for improved turning ability and increasing the overall aerodynamic efficiency of its mobile armor mode. A large jet engine is also built into each of the Asshimar's legs to reduce weight and increase mobility. The original large beam rifle is replaced by 4-barrel mega particle gun. The mobile suit is also equipped with a pair of beam pistols.

• 4-barrel Mega Particle Gun

A large armament that replaces the beam rifle of the original Asshimar. It is able to fire four shots simultaneously.

• Air-to-Ground Missile

Hardpoints on the bottom of the MA mode allows the mounting of a total of four air-to-ground missiles.

• Beam Pistol

A ranged beam weapon designed to be fired in each hand or in flight mode.

• Beam Saber

Each forearm stores a beam saber for close combat.

History

After the Asshimar received heavy damage from the GM Type C "Wagtail" it was transported to Titans' new terrestrial supply base in New Guinea. There, the Asshimar was completely upgrade with thicker armor and better weaponry. The NRX-044Q Asshimar [Danda-Chakra] was first seen in battle during a raid in the New Guinea base by Karaba resistance group with the help from Keraunos. During the battle, the Asshimar was able to destroy Keraunos' Zanzibar-class flagship.

• Danda-Chakra (दण्डचक्र daṇḍacakra) stands for "the chakram of punishment" in Hindi and Sanskrit. It is mentioned as a weapon in the Hindu epic Rāmāyaṇa.
