The NRX-044BZ Mushika (ムーシカ Mūshika?) is a mobile suit first introduced in the smartphone game Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. ENGAGE.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
Oakland Research Institute's TMA NRX-044 Asshimar has a disk-shaped lifting body structure, and was highly evaluated in terms of performance because it achieves both maneuverability during high-altitude flight in the atmosphere and stability at low altitudes. Although it was evaluated highly, one problem was the high production cost compared to normal MS. What was considered instead was the new possibility of cooperative operation with another MS.
The RMS-154 Barzam, which was developed at the New Guinea base as the next mainstay general-purpose mobile suit, was selected as a wingman. The RMS-154 is said to be a general-purpose mass-production version of the RX-178 Gundam Mk-II with a movable frame mechanism, and various development plans were being considered with it as the next-generation flagship machine, and one of them was the NRX-044BZ Mushika design.
This machine uses RMS-154 as the main body to replace the drum frame structure adopted as the transformation mechanism of NRX-044 with a movable frame. The aim was to improve production efficiency by eliminating the unique structure. As for the machine's features, the manned SFS Mushika Base, which uses parts from the NRX-044, and the RMS-154 can separate and combine depending on the situation and, by doing so, it improves bullet resistance and enhances mobility.
