The NRX-010 Gable is a Mobile Suit which appears in the series After War Gundam X.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
A heavy mobile suit developed by the New United Nations Earth, the NRX-010 Gable is only equipped with two beam deflection field generators located in the shoulders. Activating the generators protects the heavily armored mobile suit from attacks by beam weapons, deflecting the beams away from it. Additionally, its extremely thick armor protects the suit from light weapons fire. Due to its bulky and heavy stature, the Gable is not able to carry any weapons. Instead, it relies on its massive weight and strength to destroy enemies with brute force.

History[]
Due to its unconventional design, only one Gable unit was produced and this unit was put under the command of Shagia and Olba Frost, who assigned the suit to UNE pilot Milra Draid. Draid revealed that he seeks death by pushing himself to his limits and thus was more than eager to fight an enemy with the Gable without the use of weapons.
At the same time the Vulture ship Freeden stayed in the People's Republic of Estard which resisted the New UNE. When it left the country the ship was attacked by the Gable in a desert canyon. To protect the Freeden the GX-9901-DX Gundam Double X and GW-9800-B Gundam Airmaster Burst launched but their attacks proved to be futile against the heavily armored suit. Even after Jamil Neate joined Garrod and Witz in the GX-9900-DV Gundam X Divider the Gable held the upper hand. The tide only changed after Roybea Loy helped his friends in his GT-9600 Gundam Leopard. Roybea fired all the shell firing weapons of the Leopard at the Gable at point blank, which finally damaged the armor of the massive suit. The Gable was then destroyed by concentrated beam weapons fire of the three other Gundams, giving Draid the fatal thrill he was always seeking.
