The Murasame is a variant of MRX-009 Psycho Gundam that appeared in manga Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam: Dust.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
The Murasame is one of the MRX-009 Psycho Gundam hidden within the underwater city "Ryuguujo" which was built near the Murasame Institute during the Gryps War.[1] While the Murasame retains most of the Psycho Gundam's performance, its shield and other parts have been lost, and thus it cannot transform into its Mobile Fortress mode. In addition, modifications have been made in the head to accommodate a new Psycho-Frame cockpit.[1]
Armaments[]
- Small Mega Beam Cannon
- Two small mega beam cannons are mounted in the center of the v-fin on the unit's head.
- Diffuse Mega Particle Cannon
- The Murasame has three diffuse mega particle cannons in the abdomen. They each emit multiple energy beams that can easily destroy an enemy unit in one shot.
- Beam Cannon
- The fingers of the Murasame each contain a beam cannon, for a total of 10 beam cannons. Each of these cannons is capable of doing serious damage.
