Mulligan (マリガン Marigan?) is a character introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX. He is Kycilia Zabi's subordinate.[1]
History[]

He was first seen informing Char Aznable that Zeonic had agreed to his proposal of halting the development of new mobile suits in favor of reverse-engineering the Gundam for mass production. He also conveyed Kycilia's orders that Char, the RX-78-02 White Gundam, at that point had been repainted to Char's signature red color, along with the Sodon were to stationed around Granada in preparation for the decisive battle between the Principality of Zeon and the Earth Federation.[2][3]

Mulligan welcomed Kycilia to her meeting with Gihren Zabi's before the Solar Ray's completion ceremony. After Kycilia had poisoned the air inside the meeting room and killed Gihren, he took her orders to commence the Yomagn'tho Blockade operation.[4] Later, he accompanied an injured Kycilia back to her Chivvay, where he was killed alongside her by Char shooting at the Chivvay's main bridge.[5]

- The official English translation of his name is Mallygan instead of Mulligan, not to be confused with another existing different character.
- His rank in the official English translation is Lieutenant Junior Grade,[6] which is the Naval ranking equivalent of the Army ranking First Lieutenant.
