Model Suit Gunpla Builders Beginning D (模型戦士 ガンプラ ビルダーズ ビギニングD) is a manga side story based on the Model Suit Gunpla Builders Beginning G OVA released inside the magazine Dengeki Hobby. Each issue of the magazine will have a part of history.

Characters
- Shingo Asume - Protagonist of the story. A high school student who steps into the world of Gunpla Battle after a chance meeting with Saki Mishima.
- Saki Mishima - A 19-year-old woman dressed in a flashy Gothic Lolita style. She is the mentor of Shingo and teaches him the basics of Gunpla building and battle.
