Trivia[]
- The SD Gundam Short: SD Gundam Crazy Races is Shinji Takamatsu's directorial debut.
- Due to copyright issues, and due to the plotline being too similar to the Wacky Races cartoon, SD Gundam Crazy Races is not released for the DVD Box and the Blu-Ray Collection Box.
- During the first segment, a reinterpretation of the battle of Jaburo is shown. This reinterpretation depicts the mobile suit designs made for Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket as representing the original mobile suits seen in Mobile Suit Gundam. Such instances include the RX-77D Guncannon Mass Production Type appearing instead of the RX-77 Guncannon, and the RX-78-2 Gundam appearing nearly identical to the RX-78NT-1 Gundam NT-1.
