News of Tekkadan's exploits has also reached the ears of Wistario Afam, a young man born and raised at the Radonitsa Colony near Venus. Venus, which lost to Mars in the initial contest for colony development, is a remote planet in which the four economic blocs have little interest. It is now used as a penal colony for criminals, whose inhabitants don't even have IDs.
Wistario, who hopes to change the status quo of his homeland, encounters a girl who claims to be the guide to the "Urdr-Hunt".

During the production of the Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS anime, the concept of a mobile game was discussed. Bandai Namco approached producer Masakazu Ogawa to do a project together. The main demographics of the anime were determined to be between the 10-20 year old range, and so it was decided that a mobile game would be produced. Originally intended to tie into the anime's events, this was dropped, with director Tatsuyuki Nagai suggesting they tell a new story instead. Thus, the story of "Urdr-Hunt" was created.
