Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy is a 2021 video game released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It is a single-player action game based on the engine of Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2.
Plot[]
In order to break through the deteriorating war situation in the North American continent, the Noisy Fairy Squadron, a secret unit under the direct control of Kycilia of the Principality of Zeon, led by Alma, is pushing forward in the "One Year War" against the Earth Federation Forces, which possess the White Devil. The soldiers take on the brutality of war and grasp the unshakable bonds between their comrades...[1]

Gameplay[]
The game is made using the engine, various assets, and gameplay controls of Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2. The two games link data, and progression in one unlocks rewards in the other. Unlike the game it is based on, the game is story focused and single player (with no online gameplay). In addition, during the story sections of the game, pilots can be customized and an assortment of unique “pilot skills” can be equipped for use in game. Coordination with your computer controlled allies is made important, in that enemies after being hit by a stun attack successively gain a chain counter for every successive stun, which multiplies the damage inflicted. Furthermore, the player can direct allies to certain enemies by hitting the circle button, while that enemy is in the center of their screen. During story segments, the player can also capture points, where allies will respawn from, and damage will be repaired automatically (note the player cannot respawn there as if they are destroyed the stage fails).
