Char Aznable's Memories (kidou senshi Gundam U.C. senki - tsuioku no Char Aznable,機動戦士ガンダム U.C.戦記 追憶のシャア・アズナブル) is a tribute from various artists, showing some highlights of the past of the legendary Red Comet Char, and is published by Kadokawa Shouten, in February 2009.
Story
- Char Personal Use Zaku vs. Rick Dias
The first one is a retelling, in manga format, of the Evolve 12 episode: it's essentially the same, but a little bit longer, since it goes to describe the end of the simulated fight between Quattro's Hyaku-Shiki and the First Gundam
- Mass Production Zaku vs. Gundam
The second one doesn't star Char (he appears only as a side character) but describes the death of Garma Zabi. Essentially is the same episode of the Gundam TV series seen from the eyes of the pilots of the Zakus (the ones that Amuro kills)
- Char Personal Use Z'Gok vs. GM
The last one is once again a retelling of a well known episode from the Gundam TV series, this time seen from the eyes of the pilot of the GM mobile suit that is killed ("disemboweled") by Char in his red Z'Gok during the Jaburo attack. A curiosity is the fact that there is a female singer (playing a concert in Jaburo, go figure!) that looks suspiciously like the girl in Amman seen in the first story above.
