It was announced that it would be a 4-Episode Movie series, in celebration of the 35th anniversary of Gundam. Although originally announced to be four episodes, it was later extended to six with the final two episodes fully adapting the Loum arc that was partially depicted in the prologue to [[Blue-Eyed Casval|episode 1]]. ===Release=== Following the partnership between Sunrise and Right Stuf!, it was announced that they would provide an English release and a dub for the series, most of the voice actors had previously worked on ''[[Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn]]''. On January 19, 2015, GundamInfo uploaded the third trailer for the first installment, Blue-Eyed Casval and the same video with English audio (the first sample of the dub) and the release date was stated to be February 28, 2015. On February 4, 2015, a Blu-ray collectors edition was announced to be released on April 24, 2015 and streaming service DAISUKI (which had previously streamed ''[[Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam]]'' and ''[[Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ]]'') announced they would be streaming the movie in both English and Japanese audio for their paid premium service on February 28.
