History[]
In F.C. 59, Neo France held a competition between Gundam Fighters to determine who would represent the nation in the upcoming 13th Gundam Fight. In one of the final matches, Mirabeau faced George de Sand's Gundam Rose. Mirabeau was known for his unfair tactics, and in that battle, he placed himself in front of the arena's audience to prevent George from attacking. The Neo French head of state was so disgusted by this that he declared George the winner by default.
In his anger, Mirabeau attempted to murder the head of state, and George's attempt to stop him sent missiles into the crowd. After the "Tragedy of Marseilles," Mirabeau was sentenced to 1,000 years in prison in Neo France's space colony. However, in F.C. 60 he escaped with his Mirage Gundam and went down to Earth, where he met Master Asia and the Devil Gundam. After devoting himself to the Devil Gundam, Mirabeau traveled to the Guiana Highlands to fight George. With the power of the DG cells, he held down the Shining Gundam and the Gundam Spiegel, and wrecked the Butler Bensouman, who was protecting George. As a result, he was overwhelmed by an enraged Gundam Rose, and was about to be put to death, but George regained his composure, and used the power of his Shuffle emblem to cleanse Mirabeau of the DG cells.
In "Super Class," Mirabeau also merged Raymond Bishop's Butler Bensouman with the Mirage Gundam, taking Raymond as a hostage, but he was still vanquished by George, using the upgraded Gundam Rose's "Napoleon Mode".

Notes & Trivia[]
- While the Gundam Rose is designed in the style of an 18th century aristocrat, the Mirage Gundam is designed with a tubular cap that seems to resemble a 20th century French soldier.
