Minato Sakai (サカイ・ミナト Sakai Minato?) is a professional Gunpla Builder from the Gundam Build Fighters Try anime series.
Personality & Character
Minato is a very smug and arrogant person, this was shown when he addressed Sekai Kamiki as a loser after he beat Sekai (who didn't really know what he was doing) in a Gunpla Battle. He also thinks he is the best builder in the world. He is also willing to accept that he is wrong, though he is shocked if it is so.
History
Minato is from Osaka, Japan and learned to build at Gunpla Shingyo School, the same school, Mao Yasaka attended. One day, he showed up presenting a Master Grade NZ-000 Queen Mansa at the model shop at G-MUSE. But when he found out that the store hired him because Yuuma Kousaka was not available, he left in a bad mood. He met Fumina and Sekai in G-Muse. He observed Sekai's battle against a kid and then called him a loser and claimed he knew nothing. He proceeded to challenge him to a Gunpla Battle, but Hoshino pointed out he had no Gunpla. He replied he could build one in an instant so he picked up a Kouki Gundam SD and tossed the contents into the air, pulled out his Clippers, and built the SD in a matter of seconds. During the fight he kept insulting Sekai and telling him he is a weak fighter who doesn't understand Gunpla Battle. Sekai then unlocked his Musha Godmaru's hidden power. However Minato then revealed his Gunpla could transform and won the fight. Template:Cite
