Sorry about the mess I created there, I have no idea what went wrong, I just wanted to add a single line, everything looked good and then somehow every [] link on the entire thing broke, undo edit doesn't work and I have absolutely no idea how to fix it
Hey dude, the troll harassing the Gundam Wiki and Gundam Fanon Wiki impersonates users by copying their profile picture and using very similar names, double-check who you're replying to. Case in point: User:Kuruni (the real one) and User:Kununi (the fake).
Is there a specific reason why you're going around a dead forum locking topics? I mean you'd think you would want to promote some type of discussion going on instead of it just being dead. Even if you don't agree or find comments useful. Enjoy your quiet i guess.
They are three profile pictures I found from the main Gundam site. I only intend to upload these three images for the Admins to add and edit onto her page. Since I'm only doing this once, I wanted to reach out to an Admin to see if it was okay for me to upload them and/or if there are procedures I had to follow.
If it is possible for your to help me and answer my questions or if you can refer me to an Admin who can better help in this situation, please reply at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your time.
For most part, the two basic requirement is that the filename must be descriptive (we aren't very strict with it, but random string of alphabets and numbers or something so generic like "chara00.jpg" is unacceptable), and we only allow images with watermarked if it come from official site.
Thank you for the reply. What do you mean by watermarked?
The filenames from the site are basically 38a and 38b. I found a front profile image without the Gjallarhorn logo in the background from this site. Saves the trouble of having to remove the logo through a site like Photoshop. Or would it be preferable to send the front profile image from the official site?
Also, I noticed on the page for Gaelio, (under History Post Disaster 325) Yamazin's full name is not linked to her page on the wiki. Just thought you should know.
So I just submitted my three pictures of Yamazin. They include a front profile image, a side/back profile image, and a headshots image. I accidentally submitted them through the generic link on the Images page. However I then followed the Special:Upload link to apply the necessary license for all three images. Did I do the proper licensing procedures to submit them? Will there be any problems? If so, please feel free to delete the images and contact me with a reason why. If not, feel free then to add the provided images to Yamazin's page. Thank you for your help in this process.
I want to report a user that frequently delete other edit without discussing his point or reason with the people that edit.
This individual Zeph08 keep delete other people edit and was making many user angry. For reference, pls read this individual message wall and will discover many people voicing their displeasure toward him
A lot of these images don't have replacements. Half of the G Gundam characters don't even have an image in their infobox now, and I think the one you just deleted from the Titans Gundam page was the only clear scan of that manga on the whole web. Just renaming them is enough.
The problem is, leaving them around make people think it's ok to upload file with name like Hello.jpg, en mass.
I once spent hours carefully rename files and replace all the links to those files, only for someone else to upload VclsnapRandomNumbers.jpg twice as many within minutes. So it's clear that "just renaming them" is neither enough nor effective.
Now, if you want me to restore deleted images, then please give me specific filename and what it is about (for example, the one on Gundam Titans Type should at least mentioned the manga's title), so I can restore and rename them properly. If you found an image with bad filename, them rename it first. I won't delete anything with descriptive filename, even if it is vague.
