History

The concept of the MSZ-010 ΖΖ Gundam was tested in two MSZ-009 Prototype ΖΖ Gundam units, which separated into two parts called the G-Top Zero Type and G-Base Zero Type. The Prototype ΖΖ Gundam's main purpose was to test the combining mechanisms, which developed into a new core block system. Only two units were confirmed to have been produced.
