Technology & Combat Characteristics
Considered a scaled-down version of the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam, the Mass Production Type Ζ Gundam lacks the Waverider form, instead it employs wing binders similar to those of the MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki. The head of the Mass Production Z Gundam is based on that of the MSA-003 Nemo, and the overall geometry of its body is that of the original Zeta Gundam. Its armaments are simple and consist of a mega beam rifle and a pair of beam sabers.
Armaments
- Beam Saber
- The standard close range armament for most Mobile Suits, it is a small cylindrical device held in the mobile suit's hands when operated and is powered by a rechargeable energy capacitor. The beam saber is capable of cutting through any metal that has not been treated with anti-beam coating. The Mass Production Type Ζ Gundam is equipped with two beam sabers stored in the side armor.

History
After the high performance of the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam became evident, Anaheim Electronics planned to mass-produce the suit. However, this design turned out to be inferior to their other project, the MSR-00100 Hyaku Shiki Kai and its development was halted. In U.C.0094, a Mass Production Type Ζ Gundam boarded by Fresberg Corps pilot Pesco Lingua was deployed for technical tests with the MSN-001X Gundam Delta Kai at Area X of the Mariana Base.
