This particular unit was modified for use in space. Like all of the other Ζ Plus designs the Ζ Plus B could transform into a waverider mode. The Ζ Plus B was much more streamlined than previous Ζ Plus units. Armaments
History
The B type is used by the regular Federation Forces as well as Karaba. The Gundam pilots of Task Force Alpha are trained on these machines at Nellis Air Base in Nevada while they await the delivery of their new mobile suits.
