MSA-003 Nemo High Maneuver

History

This model appeared in the monthly “Model Graphic” single volume, 'GUNDAM WARS PROJECT Z.' It has been converted to use the backpack used by the MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki, including a similar type of thruster nozzle. The legs have also been modified to use the same type of thrusters as in the Hyaku Shiki's legs. Furthermore, it uses the same beam rifle as the Hyaku Shiki. In the volume this mobile suit appears in, its model number has been listed as MSA-003, the same as the original Nemo, though there are mentions of it using the model number MSA-004.

Armaments

• BR-M-87 Beam Rifle

The standard ranged armament of many mobile suits is the beam rifle. The particle beam fired from a rifle can penetrate almost any armor that has not been treated with specific counter-measures. The Nemo High Maneuver uses the Hyaku Shiki's beam rifle, which is an improved version of an older beam rifle developed during the One Year War, and its firepower is several times that of its predecessor. It has a power rating of 2.8 MW and is powered by the same rechargeable energy cap as used by the Rick Dias' beam pistol. The BR-M-87 beam rifle is also capable of emitting a beam saber from its barrel, allowing it to be used as a melee weapon should the situation call for it. The rifle has a retractable hook on top of the barrel for mounting onto the backpack when not in use.
