A variant of the MS-09B Dom, this time part of the United Maintenance Plan, the MS-09F Dom Funf is the only Dom variant that can be reconfigured for different environments without seriously rebuilding the original design. After five different previous models (hence the "fünf"- German for five) the most striking features are its shoulders and legs.
Technology and Combat Characteristics
If the Dom Funf had to be reconfigured for a new environment, it would only take a few hours. Its armaments differed in that it had an 880mm raketen bazooka, 90mm assault rifle, 90mm machine gun, and a 3-tube missile launcher.
Armaments
- Scattering Beam Gun
- A chest mounted scattering beam gun. Does little damage to enemy mobile suits but can be used to blind enemy pilots for several seconds.
- Heat Saber
- Stored on the backpack when not in use, this weapon bears a strong resemblance to the beam sabers used by Earth Federation mobile suits, however it still relies on the older technology of using thermal energy to superheat a metal blade, allowing it to melt through the armor of an enemy machine at high speed.
- MMP-80/90mm Ver.8 Machine Gun
- As part of the United Maintenance Plan new weapons were produced that could be used by numerous mobile suits such as the MMP-80 90mm machine gun. The machine gun is magazine-fed with 32 rounds per magazine.
- 880mmRB-T27 Raketen Bazooka
- A new heavy bazooka that uses a five round magazine. Spare mags can be stored on a waste storage rack.
- 90mm Assault Rifle
- A new assault rifle likely developed under the United Maintenance Plan as a weapon that can be used by various Zeon mobile suits in various environments.
- 3-tube Missile Launcher
- A small missile launcher attached to the left forearm.
History
Produced at the space fortress A Baoa Qu the Dom Funf saw very little production before the end of the war. At least two units were known to have been fielded; one was assigned to Lt. Sophie Fran of the Midnight Fenrir Corps whilst the other served as a reserve suit for Zeon ace pilot Anavel Gato (aka. the Nightmare Of Solomon) in place of his custom MS-14A Gelgoog unit.
Another unit was stationed aboard the flagship of Admiral Aiguille Delaz, the Gwazine-class battleship Gwaden. The unit was never fielded in battle even when there was heavy fighting around the ship which could indicate that it was the personal mobile suit of the admiral however there is no evidence to support the theory.

Notes & Trivia
- In the video game Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeonic Front, the Dom-F team can also use a beam rifle, which appears to be an early Gelgoog design. This has not been confirmed in other MSV sources.
