Template:Infobox/Mobile Weapon Ver.2The MS-06RP Zaku II High Mobility Test Type is a variant of the standard MS-06F Zaku II created by the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War. It appears in Mobile Suit Variations and Legend of the Universal Century Heroes: MSV-R.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

The modification points from the F-type are three points on the back, waist and legs, the main thrusters of the backpack is equipped with a thrust of 218 tons far exceeding the F-type, the integral fuel tank of the waist is enlarged, and three sub-thrusters with thrust of 45 tons are added to the legs. Furthermore, the antenna added to the base of the power pipe on the back of the head is also characteristic.

History

Only two of these prototype Zaku II High Mobility Test Type units would be constructed, and both of them would be piloted by Zeon ace pilot, and former Zeonic Company mobile suit developer, Elliot Rem. After Major Rem gave the new unit his personal approval, the MS-06RP underwent a few very minor modifications and was slated for mass-production as the MS-06R-1 Zaku II High Mobility Test Type.
