MBF-P0S Gundam Astray Red Frame Inversion

The MBF-P0S Gundam Astray Red Frame Inversion (ガンダムアストレイレッドフレームインバージョン Gandamu Asutorei Reddo Furēmu Inbājon?) is a Gunpla that appears in the ONA Gundam Breaker Battlogue and Gundam Breaker Mobile. It is a variant of the MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame and is controlled by a Mr. Bushido AI.

Technology & Combat Characteristics[]

A customized Gunpla based on the Gundam Astray Red Frame. It's base unit's inner frame structure was created to pursue movements that are more human-like than any other Mobile Suit's. In order to further make use of it, the frame was refurbished with a focus on boosting the Gunpla's reaction speed and tracing abilities. Its maneuvering characteristics became so sensitive that ordinary Fighters were unable to control the Gunpla, but those who meet its requirements are granted with combat abilities that even surpasses human beings. The "Inversion" in its name was not only added due to the color of the armor on the base MS being inverted from white to black, but also to "invert" the "Astray" and pursue an orthodox type of strength.

Armaments[]

  • "Igelstellung"
Mounted in the Red Frame Inversions's head are two "Igelstellung" 75mm multi-barrel CIWS guns. Although classified as anti air weapons, multiple hits may stagger even Mobile Suit-sized opponents.
  • Beam Rifle
A small, high-powered beam weapon. Its power is supplied from the body of the MS through connectors on the palms, enabling it to be rapid-fired to some extent.
  • Beam Saber
These are beam slashing weapons used for melee combat. They were created by utilizing practical high-power generator technology used in Beam Rifles and magnetic field formation mechanisms for Mirage Colloid technology.
  • Shield
A defensive armament widely used by Mobile Suits developed in Heliopolis. It, like the beam rifle, can be mounted onto the Flight Unit when not in use.
  • BuCUE Tactical Reconnaissance Type Head
This equipment was created using junk parts and was customized to enable the Gunpla to wield it with its hands. It has a built-in Double Beam Saber.
  • "Gerbera Straight"
A large Japanese katana that was constructed by reviving techniques lost to time. Its exquisite sharpness allows it to cut through enemy beam attacks, however its wielder also requires exceptional maneuvering skills.

Special Equipment & Features[]

  • External Connector
A connector for attaching additional equipment to the back of the suit. It is similar in function to the hardpoint on the back of the Strike Gundam. The connector is exposed when the backpack is lowered to the back skirt armor.
  • Flight Unit
This is a unique modified version of the M1 Astray equipment. The wing sections are fuel tanks, ad can be detached if necessary. It can also be remote controlled, as long as it is within a certain distance.

  • Despite its pilot, Mr. Bushido, being notably left-handed, the Gundam Astray Red Frame Inversion was depicted favoring its right-hand.
