The MAN-03 Kikeroga (MAN-03 キケロガ Kikeroga?) is a mobile armor that appeared in the movie Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-.[1][2]
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
Developed exclusively for Newtype pilots with the cooperation of the Flanagan Institute,[1] the Kikeroga was equipped with the Psycommu System which could interact with and relay the thoughts of a Newtype pilot to control its wire-guided mega particle cannons, allowing for all-range attacks.[2]
Armaments[]
- Wire-guided Twin Mega Particle Cannon[1]
- Located on the top and bottom of the Kikeroga, the wire-guided twin mega particle cannons were connected to the mobile armor via lengths of cable, and were controlled by its pilot via the Psycommu System. The wires allowed the mega particle cannons to be detached and maneuvered even under Minovsky Particle interference, and be able to move independently (within the range of the wire) to fire on one or several targets. The cannon's output were significantly powerful, able to incinerate armors with or without anti-beam coating.[2]
- Wire-guided Mega Particle Cannon[1]
- Located on the left and right sides of the Kikeroga, the wire-guided mega particle cannons were connected to the mobile armor via the lengths of cable, and were controlled by its pilot via the Psycommu System. They functioned identically with the twin mega particle cannons and together they could either served as Kikeroga's turret to fire a powerful, concentrated beam towards a target, or to engage multiple targets at once when they were detached.[2]

- Psycommu System
- During the One Year War, the researchers of the Flanagan Institute discovered that Newtypes emit powerful thoughtwaves - similar to regular brainwaves, but not electrical in nature - which they called psycho-waves. The Flanagan Institute went on to develop a mind-machine interface called the Psycommu (psycho-communicator) System, which received human thought waves and translated them into computer commands. Using this interface, a Newtype pilot could direct remote weapons and operate mobile weapons by thought alone.
History[]
The Kikeroga was assigned to Cpt. Challia Bull, who deployed alongside Col. Char Aznable's GMS-α Red Gundam during the later stages of the One Year War.[1][2] The Newtype piloting duo inflicted tremendous losses to the Earth Federation Forces, earning the Kikeroga the nickname Grey Ghost (灰色の幽霊 Haiiro no Yūrei?).[3]
Due to the peace treaty that prohibited all Psycommu-equipped machines, the Kikeroga is a prohibited weapon after the One Year War, and even rumors of it leaving the base can cause a potential scandal.

Notes and Trivia[]
- Kikeroga is the GQuuuuuX timeline's version of the MAN-03 Braw Bro, and is, for all intents and purposes, visually and functionally identical to its original series counterpart. One of the most notable differences between the two machines however, is that Kikeroga is roughly half the size (32 metres tall compared to 60.2 metres) and mass (868.2 tonnes compared to 1753.5 tonnes) of Braw Bro.
- The name is derived from the MSN-01 Kikeroga, a mobile suit design that was planned to be introduced in episode 42 of the original Mobile Suit Gundam series as the in-between to Char's Gelgoog and the Zeong, but ended up never shown due to the series episode count being slashed from the intended 50 down to 43.
