Disambiguation:

M'Quve (マ・クベ Ma Kube?) is a character from the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin manga, its OVA adaptation and its television recut as well as the antagonist of the Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island movie.

History[]

He was commanded by Kycilia to lead the Earth Invasion Force. Months into the war, he was shown parading victoriously in Paris [1]. After Admiral Johann Ibrahim Revil's capture during the Battle of Loum, M'Quve would discreetly have a portion of his forces free the admiral on Kycilia's orders in order to further intensify the war between Zeon and the Federation during the negotiations for the Antarctic Treaty.

Following his return to battle, M'Quve would meet up with the Black Tri-Stars to hand over their new MS-09 Dom before continuing to lead Zeon's Earth forces following the death of Garma Zabi at Los Angeles. M'Quve would have a plan to fire several nuclear missiles at Revil's fleet, but this was foiled as the missiles were sabotaged by Cucuruz Doan and detonated without hitting their target.

During the battle of Odessa, M'Quve attempted to once again use nukes on Revil by having a special Gaw attack Revil's ship with information given by Elran, a mole planted within the Federation. This was stopped again by Amuro Ray, who had sensed the danger and successfully intercepted the nuclear missiles whilst also capturing Elran. Seeing that no hope was left for them on Earth, M'Quve personally departed on his YMS-15 Gyan, asking his second-in-command, Uragang to take a special porcelain vase back to Kycilia and not to mass-produce his personal Gyan. After leading a quick but deadly counterattack to allow his forces to escape, M'Quve dove underwater to the center of the Federation fleet and fired a nuclear missile, killing all within the vicinity including himself.

A figure of M'Quve would appear during Uragang's attempt to kill Amuro and the rest of the White Base's crew for causing their failure at Odessa, but M'Quve ends up scolding Uragang harshly for directly disobeying an order when he attempts to use a reproduction of the Gyan.
