Lucas Kankaansyrjä (ルーカス・カンカーンシュルヤ Rūkasu Kankānshuruya?) is a minor character in Gundam Build Fighters and supporting character in Gundam Build Fighters Try. Lucas is the grandson of Josef Kankaansyrjä.

Skills & Abilities
Lucas is a very skilled fighter as shown by the fact that he is the undefeated champion of Europe. He displays his skills as he single handedly defeats three students piloting custom made units with a Jegan without so much as a scratch.
As well as this, he is remarked as being a top level builder by Minato after defeating Team White Wolf with his Crossbone Gundam X-1 "Full Cloth"
History
Lucas traveled to Japan with his grandfather Josef, who promised him the trophy of the 7th Gunpla Battle World Championships for his birthday, investing a lot of money in the Flana Institute. However, during the semi-final round between Aila Jyrkiäinen and Sei Iori/Reiji, Aila betrayed Team Nemesis and told Lucas that if he wants to win at Gunpla Battle, he needs to play it himself.
Seven years later, Lucas became the undefeated European junior champion in Gunpla Battle. He moved to Japan to continue his studies at Granada Academy and participate in the 14th world championships under the alias Lucas Nemesis. While at the school, a man approaches him, asking him to choose a Gunpla to show off his skills. He instantly chooses the Jegan, saying that it's a childish sentiment of his. The fight then ends with the Jegan, unscratched and his opponents defeated. The man is thrilled to have seen that, realizing that they were going to win now.
During the tournament, Lucas was kept in reserves until the team faced the Gunpla Academy. However, before their quarterfinal match against the Gabai Institute, Lucas, after witnessing the Sekai and Try Burning Gundam's last battle, decided to battle in the step in and battle. After the battle, Lucas bumps into Sekai as he stepped out of an elevator. As Sekai steps in, Lucas asks if his injury has healed and before the elevator door closes, tells him that he can have an earnest battle with him.

- When he enters battle with the XM-X1 Crossbone Gundam X-1 Kai Kai "Skull Heart" Full Cloth", it is armed exactly how the Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. and its sequel's renditions had armed it, with a Muramasa Blaster in the left hand, a Peacock Smasher in the right hand, and two Skull Head Units.
