Liu Shenqiang (リュー・シェンチアン?) is a character introduced in the animated film Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom.
Personality & Character[]
Liu is very egotistical and narcissistic just like the rest of the Black Knight Squad, believing he is superior to regular humans and coordinators because he is an Accord.[1]
Skills & Abilities[]
Liu is able to hijack nuclear missiles. He is also good at piloting a mobile suit, taking out seasoned opponents.[1]

History[]
Liu was created by Aura Maha Khyber at the Mendel Genetics Lab as an Accord in order to usher in a new era of peace and prosperity in accordance with Gilbert Durandal's Destiny Plan. He was raised by Aura and at some point became part of the Black Knight Squad in Foundation under Orphee Tao Lam and Shura Serpentine's command.
He is first seen when Compass visit Foundation. He is later seen sword fighting against Shura. When Shura notices Kira Yamato and the other members of Compass, he communicates his plan to Liu and his sword is 'coincidentally' knocked into Kira's position. Shura then tries to goad him into joining them, but Kira refuses. He watches as Shinn Asuka rises to the challenge and faces Shura, mocking the 'Freedom Killer' when he loses.
Liu then takes part in the joint operation with Compass and the Eurasian Federation against Blue Cosmos in his NOG-M4F Rud-ro.A. In accordance with Orphee Lam Tao's scheme, he heads into battle with the other Black Knights. Griffin Arbalest shows Kira an illusion of Michael, the leader of the enemy forces. This causes Kira to chase the illusion across the Eurasian border, which leads Lacus into ordering Kira be shot down. After Foundation uses and NJ Dazzler to cut communication with the command room, Liu uses the confusion to hijack some nuclear missiles and fires them while Daniel Harper stands guard. Noticing that the Archangel had spotted them, the pair attack the Archangel, killing Mars Simeon and Herbert Von Reinhard while heavily damaging the ship. Mu La Flaga arrives in his Murasame Kai and attacks them in fury after seeing the destroyed ship, but the pair quickly dispatch him. They then retreat after hitting their time limit.
Liu boards the Gullveig with the other Black Knights and watches as the Requiem is fired against the Eurasian Federation and as Orphee attempts to blackmail the nations of Earth into accepting the Destiny Plan. When Orphee begins the battle against the Millennium, he orders Liu to sortie along with Daniel, Griffin and Redelard Tradoll. They target the Millennium and face Shinn in his Destiny Gundam Spec II. They attempt to read Shinn's mind in battle but fail. The quartet then attempt to mentally influence him and draw out his dark thoughts, but are stopped by an image of Stella. They are overwhelmed by the Destiny's Mirage Colloid System which leaves moving afterimages in its wake and cry out in shock when Redelard in killed. The remaining trio are then swiftly wiped out by Shinn.[1]
