The Life Pod is a space capsule introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.

History[]
Lacus Clyne was put into a Life Pod when her ship fell under attack by vessels of the Earth Alliance. Her pod was found by Kira Yamato and brought back to the Archangel.[1] During the Battle of Mendel, Flay Allster was put into a Life Pod under orders from Rau Le Creuset,[2] who jettisoned her pod so it could be captured by the EA battleship, Dominion, and deliver the Neutron Jammer Canceller information.[3]
