Laguna Harvey (ラグナ・ハーヴェイ) is president of Linear Train Industries, his company is contracted for operations and maintenance over the orbital elevators. In secret, he's a member of Celestial Being. He's one of the few people in the world with influence and the vast resources to provide Celestial Being with resources for their operations without giving attention to the world authorities; he has rogue with his own agenda.

Personality

Not much is understood about Laguna due to limited explanations of his intentions. The story suggests he wanted greater political influence and it involves Team Trinity and giving the world GN-Technology. His actions suggests he has delusions of grandeur, poor ability of anticipation and stealth as his activities were discovered by other Celestial Being members.

History

Celestial Being

Laguna's affiliation with Celestial Being is a untold tale. The fact his company provides resources to Celestial Being and related to Aeolia Schenberg's orbital elevator plans suggest his family or at least himself was part of of the secrent organization for a very long time. He had Linear Train Industries assist Celestial Being from sneaking in materials, equipment, Gundams, and operatives in between Earth, orbital elevators, and Lagrange.

Personal Agenda

While Laguna provided much to Celestial Being, it's clear he wanted more than just idealistically change the world. He had somehow hacked into Veda and stole Celestial Being Technology for his own agenda.

Gary Bradge

It was never explained how Ali Al Saachez came into the service of Laguna, but he hired him as his personal operative. Using his connections at AEU, he has a duel idenity between Moralia/PMC Trust and French Foreign Legion. Laguna gave him a false ID, Gary Bradge, to work under AEU to carry out special missions. The depth of his connections and who is in the loop behind Laguna's activities are unknown, but Ali seems to be the only one.

Creating Team Trinity

The origins of the Trinity's are unknown, but they were chosen and fitted to be personal Gundam Meister's to Laguna. Using stolen GN-Tech, Laguna created GN T(au) drives that resulted in the Gundam Thrones, Trinity Mothership, and their secret base in Northern Africa. Laguna intends to cripple the world's military might, by having the Thrones forcefully pacifying nations through military base attacks and total annihilation tactics. However, pacifying the world wasn't his real intentions.

Destroying Celestial Being

Although the full scope of his intentions are unknown, it appears he's been attempting to gain favor and greater influence over the world by offering GN-Tech to the world. It's unclear why would he destroy his own group, but exterminating the Trinity's seem to be part of his plans. He unleashed the Thrones to cause chaos and then give the world GN-X's to destroy them.

Death

Ali visited Laguna at the Linear Train Corporation HQ, Ali requested Laguna to give him a mobile unit for combat, hinting on the GN-X. Ali never accused or said Laguna was part of Celestial Being, but hinted everything to suggest to him that he knew a lot more than it appears. Laguna wanted to know his intentions and Ali explained he wanted his influence to have him part of regular military as he perceives no future being a mercenary. Ali subsequently left the building in anger, suggesting his request was denied. It was later when Alejandro Corner was hacking Veda that he discovered Laguna's activities and mentions that his actions will be put to an end, the following scene reveals Laguna dead on his office table, shot through the head. Later when Ali Al Saachez was about to wipe out the Trinity's, he revealed to them it was he who killed Laguna Harvey.

Relationships

Celestial Being

He's a agent of Celestial Being, but later exploited and abused the organization's secrets for his own agenda.

Alejandro Corner

Alejandro was the few people that caught onto Laguna and his intentions. It's unclear did he have a relationship with Ali Al Saachez, however when Alejandro discovered Laguna's activities (while hacking Veda), he mentioned he'll be stopped and coincidently Ali killed Laguna not long.

Ali Al Saachez

Laguna's personal agent, for unexplained reasons he had Ali infiltrate AEU's military as Gary Bradge. The full extent of his reasons of hiring Ali might not ever be explained because Laguna was subsequently killed by Ali after denying him a GN-X.

Innovators

Laguna is manipulated by the Innovators into building and selling thirty GN Drive-equipped GN-X mobile suits to the three power blocs.
