Kuntala (クンタラ Kuntara?) is a term appearing in Gundam Reconguista in G.

"Kuntala" is a derogatory term used to refer to the descendants of the lower-class people who were used as substitute food by the privileged class during the global food crisis near the end of the Universal Century[1] [2] The Kuntala word dates back all the way to the Universal Century era [3]. Although discrimination against Kuntala have somewhat diminished in the present Regild Century era, prejudice still remains as people of Kuntala origin are still not admitted into important positions [4]. People of Kuntala lineage include Luin Lee, Manny Ambassada, and Noredo Nug.
