Kiyu Lavot (キユウ・ラボット Kiyuu Rabotto?) is the main protagonist of the manga Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury - Vanadis Heart.

A young boy who travels with Vilda Miren, a survivor of the Vanadis Institute once known as a "Witch". [1] He follows Vilda's commands as he looks up to her, but often ends up being quite a handful due to his careless personality.[1] He gained both his housekeeping and piloting skills in an orphanage, now putting those skills to use when piloting Jiu.[1] Jiu is an unusual mobile suit, but the two share a natural compatibility that leads Kiyu to call Jiu a "friend".[1] His heart is made using GUND technology.[1] He cannot go further than 800 meters from Jiu, otherwise the GUND will be shut down. He is often asked by Vilda not to kill enemies and not to raise Permet Score, as it is too risky for his body.
