The JMW-07 Mono Arm was a mobile armor/worker pod used by the Jupiter Empire.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
The Mono Arm was originally developed as a large worker pod for construction purposes. As its name suggested, its greatest feature was the large mechanical arm underneath it. The round section at its rear could house a large payload, and contained a small mechanical arm. It was equipped with wires for fixing buildings in place and a beam cannon for welding.
While the Empire concealed its hostility towards the Earth Sphere, Empire agent Damien Karras customized a Mono Arm for combat, replacing the wires with hyper vibrating wires, creating a unique combat style and turning the Mono Arm into a powerful combat machine. Later, after the Empire finalized its Earth invasion plan, it was designated as a Mobile Armor and given the model number of "JMW-07".

In U.C. 0103, the Mono Arm piloted Damien Karras and co-piloted by his student Quo Gray were deployed on a shoal zone to rescue a group of child test subjects escaped from a Federation Newtype lab.[1] During the rescue he manage to pilot several FD-03 Gustav Karl (Outer Space Type) with Mono Arm's Hyper Vibrating Wires, and rescued a few survivor, but send the rest to collide with asteroid. However the Mono Arm were confronted by Grey Stoke in his Gump, and engaged in a fierce fight.[1] During the fight the Mono Arm lost its large arm unit to Gump, but it manage to deal some damage to Gump's left hand by its hyper vibrating wires, but when Karras tried to shot the Gump with its beam cannon it missed the shot. The Mono Arm then retreated from the battlefield after the Escapees Leader, showed Karras what she's capable of by ejecting her from Mono Arm's cockpit.[2]
The Mono Arm would eventually be refined into the EMA-07 Nautilus mobile armor.
