Synopsis[]
Having been defeated by the Zeta Gundam, Mashymre Cello seizes an opportunity to strike back. As Judau Ashta and his friends search for the Argama, they happen to spot Mashymre launching into battle. Not wanting to be beaten to the prize, Judau grabs on to Mashymre's Galluss-J, hoping to stop it...
Plot[]
In a wilderness area of the Shangri-La colony, there are mountains, which when examined more closely are piles of rubble and metal debris. The Argama is backing into such a pile, shifting around to be entirely protected from sight.
Axis Captain Mashymre Cello checks into a grand hotel in the city, paying for it with a gold bar. He meets up with Gottn Goh, in Zeon uniform, and Mashymre says they need to stay in civilian clothes so as not to attract attention. They get into a car, and as Gottn changes clothes, he says that Argama may be hiding.
As they drive, Mashymre recalls a time in an immense throne room, where Haman Karn addresses a Zeon crowd, who will be her observers in the Earth sphere. Mashymre is there, wearing the rose she gave him, as she calls him forward. He kneels as he is mesmerized by her beauty, and she assigns him to be the one to prepare Shangri-La for her.
Mashymre is jolted out of his romantic fantasy when their car nearly runs into a flatbed recycling truck driven by Beecha Oleg and other friends of Judau Ashta. Nobody is hurt, and the car and truck proceed on their separate ways.
Beecha and Judau's other friends, Lino Abbav, Elle Vianno, and Mondo Agake, show up at Judau's apartment and get him up, they've found the Argama, and they still hope to steal the Zeta Gundam. After a bit of prodding, they get him dressed and ready. During this, Judau's little sister, Leina, has come back from an errand; she immediately recognizes that the gang is ready to go off after Argama, but they leave without her. Leina feels she should do something, and goes off to get advice from Fa Yuiry.
Gottn has taken Mashymre to the city hospital, and explains that that's where Argama's wounded are, and they could be useful as hostages, or shields. Mashymre is outraged, hostages are not proper for a noble knight, regardless of what Gottn might name them. Mashymre grabs the steering wheel and spins the car around right in front of the hospital, barely missing Fa pushing Kamille Bidan's wheelchair, with Shinta and Qum also there. Mashymre gets out and politely asks if anyone was hurt, and is glad that nobody was. He's struck by how Fa stayed with Kamille, even though the car endangered her, and spends a while praising her. Leina arrives and takes Fa and the others with her, while Mashymre muses on how wonderful an angel Fa is. In the car, Gottn covers his eyes in embarassment.
Out in the wilderness, Judau and his friends watch from a distance as workers dig into mountains of debris. They see Gottn and Mashymre drive up; Gottn explains that the workers are his, so he can gather searchers with less suspicion; also, he has planted bombs in the ground to act as a pitfall, though Mashymre objects, such a thing is improper, it could damage the colony. Judau and his friends are close enough to hear when Gottn points out what mountain Argama is hidden in.
Gottn and Mashymre get to a truck, in which is Mashymre's Galluss-J; Mashymre gets in and powers it up. Judau tells the others to go search for Argama, while Judau slows down Mashymre. Judau runs up behind Galluss-J, throws a line, and tries to pull himself up. But now Judau is just being dragged along as Galluss-J walks away. Judau's friends pursue in their truck.
Judau tries pulling himself up on Galluss-J, and Mashymre, noticing the drag, spies Judau behind him. He recognizes Judau as the thief from earlier; he yells at Judau to get off, but Judau is staying, his group steals mobile suits to sell, and he says he's taking this one. Mashymre tries to get Galluss-J to shake Judau off. (Around this time, we see a car with Fa and Leina in it, trying to catch up, but they are far off.)
Judau's friends help: they've prepared bottles loaded with sand, and rush their truck around so they can face Mashymre. They throw bottles at the cockpit, and though he's not hit, he gets enough sand on him that he's blinded. Judau climbs into the cockpit, and the two of them fight for control. Judau accidentally kicks a lever that tosses both of them out of the cockpit; Judau falls to the ground, and Mashymre climbs back in and gets control. He considers attacking the thieves, but he remembers advice from Haman: children are our future, he should be kind to them. Mashymre remembers his true goal is Argama and then the colony; he marches the Galluss-J towards the mountain.
Judau and his friends have gotten to the mountain of debris first, and are exploring it. Judau is first to look up and see the Argama within the trash; he see the hangar, with lots of mobile suits there, one of them the Zeta Gundam. But Bright Noa, inside the hangar, also notices the kids outside; he gives orders to have a series of hatches opened so the kids will make their way to the hangar.
The thieves sneak into the darkened hangar, sure that they are going to get away with a mobile suit, when the lights suddenly come on, and they are surrounded by crewmen. But Judau sees the Zeta; he hurries to it, climbs in, powers it up, and starts it walking out of the hangar. But once outside, he's out of the debris mountain, and there in front om him is the Galluss-J, which starts shooting at him.
Bright Noah gets a call from the bridge, warning him of the enemy mobile suit. Bright says to get Methuss ready to launch, but the bridge crew tells him that Fa isn't back yet. Bright orders the kids to be brought to the bridge.
Outside, Galluss-J and Zeta Gundam start to fight, but then Judau just runs away with Zeta. As Mashymre chases, he radios Gottn: he'll lead Zeta to the pitfall, so the bombs planted there can catch Zeta. Mashymre races Galluss-J towards the place, and as Judau follows, the bombs go off, creating a hole. Zeta Gundam falls into the hole, but then Galluss-J also starts to fall into the hole: the bombs were enough to blow a hole in the colony floor, and both mobile suits fall out into space.
Bright radios Judau advice on how to operate the Zeta in space, but it's beyond what Judau can figure out at the moment, he's running out of air, neither he nor Mashymre are wearing vacuum suits, and Zeta has holes in it. But then Judau pulls himself together to start fighting Zeta, and the two mobile suits start shooting at each other and dodging. Eventually, Judau gets lucky, and gets Zeta's foot on one of Galuss-J's limbs and pushes, flinging Galluss-J far away down the colony wall.
Bright radios that someone will come to pick Judau up, and though thankful (he's plugging air holes with his clothes), Judau asks whether this means he'll have to just hand the Gundam back to Argama. Bright says no deal, he'll give Judau breakfast but nothing further. Judau accepts, he's almost out of air.
Mashymre radios Gottn, and arranges to get the mobile suit back into the colony. After some work, Galluss-J is recovered and loaded onto a truck. As Gottn and Mashymre drive the truck back out of the wastelands, they pass a car going the other way, towards Argama. It's being driven by Fa, with Leina next to her. Mashymre reflects on seeing the angel again, and the truck and car drive on.
