High Grade Gundam Thunderbolt Logo
High Grade Gundam Thunderbolt (HGGT) is a line of Gunpla kits of the Mobile Suits from the Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt manga and anime adaptation in the Gundam meta series. Despite the series taking place in the Universal Century, this line is separate from High Grade Universal Century. Early releases came with a booklet containing excerpts from the manga and additional artwork and information on the series.
The box cover art for the first six kits in the line was by manga creator Yasuo Ohtagaki, while the anime color versions box cover art was by Naochika Morishita.
In 2016, with the release of the anime adaptation, the first six kits in the line were discontinued following the re-releases of those kits with anime-accurate colors.
Following the reorganization of Bandai Namco Group, box covers of reissue and future release of kits from September 2018 onwards feature a blue Bandai logo instead of the original red logo, while releases and reissues from mid-2022 onwards further feature the Bandai Namco logo on the upper right corner.
