Hayato Kobayashi (ハヤト・コバヤシ Hayato Kobayashi?) is a supporting character appearing in the manga Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin, its OVA adaptation, the television recut and the movie Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island.

History[]

Hayato is a boy who lives in Side 7, where he attends the same school as Amuro Ray. He is a practitioner of Judo, and holds a black belt rank. In the aftermath of an attack on Side 7 by Principality of Zeon forces, Hayato would board the White Base as a refugee, along with Amuro and Fraw Bow, and become a pilot for the RX-75 Guntank.
