Haba is a character from Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS.
History[]
Haba is the owner of a shop in Chryse. Several years before the main events of the series, she was approached by Mikazuki Augus, who then directed her attention to a starving Atra Mixta only moments after meeting her outside the shop. Haba quickly took Atra in, and provided her a job at the shop.
Over the years, Haba and Atra seemed to have grown very close, with Atra looking up to Haba as if she were a surrogate mother or older sister. Haba taught Atra many useful skills, and provided her with advice and personal opinions on a wide variety of subjects, most of which Atra took to heart. Atra always recalled Haba's advice and stories whenever it seemed appropriate to her situation.
In particular, after noticing how Mikazuki was mentally unfazed despite losing all functionality of the right side of his body after releasing the limiters on the Gundam Barbatos Lupus in the battle with the Hashmal, Atra recalled a story that Haba had told her about her husband. Haba's husband was supposedly very reckless in his actions, which often made her worry about him. Haba was eventually able to "tie him down" and curb his reckless behavior by becoming pregnant. With encouragement from her friend, Kudelia Aina Bernstein, Atra decided to follow Haba's footsteps and conceived Mikazuki's child.
