The Gwasha (グワーシャ Guwāsha?) is a battleship introduced in the manga Mobile Suit Moon Gundam.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
The Gwasha is the first ship of its class and the flagship of a Zabi extremist faction of Neo Zeon, from which Luce Krangel and the Schlange Team operate. The Gwasha is the last large battleship constructed and delivered by Axis Shipyards, designed and built independently with the Krangel family's extensive financial backing. Around 600 meters in length, the ship inherited the design concepts of the Gwazine and Gwadan-classes. It similarly has the capability to journey back and forth from the Asteroid Belt on its own.

- Kogwasha
- A detachable craft that forms the bow of the Gwasha. Similar to a Komusai, the Kogwasha can be operated as a separate vessel, capable of use as an atmospheric re-entry or escape craft. It has a total length of 93 meters, so it is comparable in size to a cargo ship and can carry two Mobile Suit squads.
History[]
The Gwasha first saw action at Core 3, when the Earth Federation Forces and AEUG intervened during the sudden Neo Zeon civil war between Haman's loyalists and the Glemy Faction. At the end of the First Neo Zeon War the Gwasha engaged in the rescue of Neo Zeon soldiers from the battlefield, including units assigned to the Endra II. The whereabouts of the Gwasha following the war are unknown, but in 0092 she would emerge from hiding and engage in hostilities in Side 1 space. Captained by Boudin, the Gwasha served as the flagship of the Krangel Faction, who attempted to retake Mineva Lao Zabi from Londo Bell's forces.
