This is the page for Project: The Origin. This project emcompasses all media relating to Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin manga, its OVA adaptation, the television recut, all of its side-story manga, and Mobile Suit Discovery (hereafter referred to as The Origin). This project also concerns all entities featured in the The Origin and any merchandise made in support of The Origin.

Objectives

1. To fully separate articles about entities from The Origin with that of their main Universal Century counterparts, thereby complying with our canon policy.
   1. Make sure any pages for The Origin have {{Project|The Origin}} at the bottom. This automatically puts them in Category:Project: The Origin as well as being a notice to direct readers here.
   2. Remove any general Universal Century navboxes, not only are these against the canon policy, they also damage search-engine-optimization.
   3. Make sure Template:Infobox/Mobile Weapon is used on mecha pages for the tab system.
2. To have well-cited and readable plot summaries of each installment of The Origin.
3. To have well-cited and readable profiles of each entity featured in The Origin.
4. To have up-to-date data on merchandise made in support of The Origin.
