The Gundam Valkyrie (ガンダムヴァルキュリア Gandamu Varukyuria?) is a Gunpla that appears in the Gundam Breaker Mobile video game. It is piloted by Sana Miyama in the story. It is the successor to the Sanakapool.[1]
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
The Gundam Valkyrie was designed to be a support mobile suit to assist the Protagonist's Gundam Areus in their team play. The Gundam Valkyrie is a very small Gunpla, being only about two-thirds the size of the Gundam Areus model kit that it was custom built from. It draws most of its design inspiration from the Gundam F91, with the majority of the armor on the chest, back, legs, head and arms all derived from the F91. But the Valkyrie also incorporates some parts from the Shining Gundam, such as the shoulders and the arm guard on the left arm, as well as some GN effects parts to create the appearance of crystals.
Armaments[]
- Head Vulcans
- A pair of vulcan guns mounted in the head. They are unused in game.
- Beam Vulcans
- Located in the chest, the Beam Vulcans replace the F91's original Mega Machine Cannons.
- Beam Rifle
- This is visually identical to the F91's Beam Rifle.
- Valkyrie Saber
- A custom beam saber with three extra short crystal blades at the base of the main beam emitter. Two Valkyrie Sabers are stored in the legs, presumably in the left hip armor. Both Valkyrie Sabers can be wielded at once to employ a spinning saber attack by rapidly rotating the hands a full 360 degrees, in homage to a scene in Mobile Suit Gundam F91.
- Beam Shield
- A beam shield from the Gundam F91. When in use, the shield generator is mounted on the arm guard, from the Shining Gundam, that is fixed on the left arm. It is unknown if the shield generator, or a spare, could be stored in the right skirt armor.
- V.S.B.R. Funnels
- Made from combining the F91's V.S.B.R.s and the 00 Qan[T]'s GN Sword IV. The Valkyrie has two of these cannons mounted on its backpack where the F91 mounts its Variable Speed Beam Rifles. The V.S.B.R. Funnels can be launched from the back to carry out all-ranged attacks.
Special Equipment & Features[]
- S.A.N.A. Mode
- A backronym for "Super Absolute Noble Afterimage" Mode, it was named by Sana. When activated the Gundam Valkyrie will undergo a slight form change. This awakening briefly increases speed and the power of shooting attacks while dispersing crystal particles in the same fashion of Gundam F91's Metal Peel-Off Effect.
History[]
The Gundam Valkyrie was designed and built by Sana Miyama in the weeks following her and the Protagonist's win at the second Gunpla Guerrilla Battle tournament. Sana also received a Gundam Areus model for winning, but chose to customize hers instead to fit her taste. By March she had completed it, and it had replaced her Sanakapool in most play. She used the Gundam Valkyrie in the first round of qualifiers for the All-Japan Championship. She would advance to the secondary preliminaries, but placed fourth, losing to Yuri Ichinose.

Notes & Trivia[]
- Players can attain individual parts for this Gunpla by rolling the Gundam Valkyrie Capsules, which required special Valkyrie Coins to use. Valkyrie Coins can be earned by completing all twenty of the Battle Circuit's Grand Prix laps under time, with better times winning more coins.
- The Gundam Valkyrie uses the Middle Shooter Ple Two AI in Story Mode, but will have Sana's voice lines.
