Gundam Stand at Jaburo (Gundam Stand at Jaburo: Aware/Tenshi-hen, GUNDAM STAND at Jaburo 哀・天使編) is a short WALL-G movie based on episode 30 of Mobile Suit Gundam. The film makes extensive use of the 1:1 scale RX-78-2 Gundam statue and the wall of Diver City Tokyo Plaza. It was first aired at Gundam Front Tokyo on April 26, 2013.
Synopsis[]
Kikka, Katz, and Letz wander around the Earth Federation Forces' subterranean base at Jaburo, unaware that a couple of MSM-04 Acguy units have made their way inside. Amuro Ray is preparing to dock both halves of the RX-78-2 Gundam when the facility suddenly experiences a brief power outage. Meanwhile, the orphans stumble upon the RGM-79 GM factory and discover bombs planted by Zeon forces. They also play around with the factory's computer, spray painting one Acguy in the Gundam's tricolors before discovering the impostor suit and running away.
When Zeon forces led by Char Aznable begin their invasion of Jaburo, Amuro sorties out in the Gundam and destroys the two Acguy units. The orphans reveal a Zeon bomb to Amuro and they begin their search for other bombs. Amuro then spots Char's Z'Gok and chases after it. The Gundam slices off the Z'Gok's right arm, forcing Char to retreat. With all the bombs located and disposed of, the Federation thwarts off the Zeon invasion. The film ends with Amuro and the orphans launching the Gundam from the White Base over Jaburo.
In a bonus super-deformed scene, a Gogg and a Zock break right through the movie screen and watch clips of this film and Gundam Reconguista in G: From the Past to the Future before the G-3 Gundam appears and blasts them. Realizing they are now ghosts, the two Zeon suits are paid a visit by the ghost of the tricolor Acguy, who gives them wings and tricolors before the trio dance their way to heaven.
