Gundam Fight Begins! The Gundam that Fell to Earth is the first episode of Mobile Fighter G Gundam.

Plot

The year is F.C. 60, and the 13th Gundam Fight is about to begin. Several Gundams begin to descend onto Earth, including a Gundam hidden in a meteorite, which lands on Earth. Michelo Chariot, the Neo Italy Gundam Fighter, orders his men to kill the pilot that landed with the meteorite. A police inspector named Belcino examines the crash site and vows to find the Gundam Fighter.

Meanwhile, Domon Kasshu arrives at a local bar to ask if anyone has seen a man in a photo. After a scuffle with Michelo’s men, in which a child named Sophia is grabbed by them, Domon is arrested. Domon is bailed out by his partner, Rain Mikamura, who shows Belcino a Neo Japan passport, claiming they are simply tourists. As thanks for rescuing her, Sophia and the other street children guide Domon to an abandoned hotel where he intends to stay the night. During their conversation it is revealed Michelo is in fact a well-known mob boss and criminal. Michelo then appears in Neros Gundam, attacking them and kidnapping Sofia, holding her as a hostage. Belcino arrives at the scene and orders his men to detain Domon while he attempts to rescue Sofia.

Domon soon arrives, and helps free Sofia. Michelo's men open fire, but fail to wound Domon. The 13th Gundam Fight officially begins, allowing Domon to call the Shining Gundam and begin fighting Michelo in a Gundam Fight match. Although initially pushed back by the Neros Gundam’s Silver Legs technique, and Michelo’s targeting of the cockpit, Domon activates the Shining Gundam’s Battle Mode, and uses the Shining Finger, destroying the Neros Gundam's head, and thus disqualifies Michelo. Before finishing him, Domon asks him if he has seen the man in the picture, but Michelo says he knows nothing.

Quotes

I want you to look very carefully. The colonies decided to have competition so they wouldn't go to war with one another. Each of them sends a Gundam represent their colony nations, and they fight each other on Earth. And they fight, and they fight, and they continue fighting, until the nation represented by the last standing Gundam, earns the right to rule all of space. They're totally insane. They think of the planet Earth as nothing more than a playground.
