MD-0032G Guel's Dilanza (ディランザ グエル専用機 Diranza Gueru Sen'yō-ki?) is a mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury. It is piloted by Guel Jeturk.

Technology & Combat Characteristics[]

Among the basic MS Dilanza units developed by Jeturk Heavy Machinery, a number have been customized for their pilots.[1] One of these has been modified to suit the piloting style of Guel Jeturk, heir to the company.[1] Its outward appearance has also been tailored to fit Guel's penchant for the ostentatious.[1] Painted in a vivid magenta and fitted with a decorative headpiece, this unit embodies the skill and unshakable self-confidence which made Guel, Asticassia's best pilot.[1] It gives the impression that no other unit could be worthy of such a pilot.[1]

Armaments[]

  • Beam Vulcan
Beam weaponry affixed to the unit's chest.[1] Due to the beam's low power and rapid-fire capability, it is largely used for diversionary tactics in duels.[1]
  • Spike Shield
Defensive equipment attached to each shoulder, exclusive to this unit.[1] Furnished with a spike, they can also serve as striking weapons.[1]
  • Beam Rifle
A standard sidearm developed for MS units by Jeturk Heavy Machinery.[1] In addition to its burst attack, it boasts several other firing modes.[1]
  • Beam Torch
A melee weapon common to all Dilanza units, with a broad beam blade.[1] When not in use, it is stored in the weapon dock inside the shield.[1]
  • Beam Partizan
A melee weapon option for the Dilanza.[1] A polearm which can generate high convergence-rate beam blades extending from one end.[1] For a melee weapon, it boasts a broad effective attack range.[1] Generates a standard green colored beam at an output abiding to Asticassia School of Technology limits, and a magenta colored beam when at full output.[2]

History[]

The customized Dilanza showed high performance in an initial duel against an unknown student pilot, but it was quickly defeated by the Gundam Aerial's GUND-BITs and Guel soon transitioned to the Darilbalde.

The suit was later repaired and once again piloted by Guel after the Darilbalde was destroyed in the previous fight with Shaddiq. The feathered headpiece was omitted and the school limiters were removed due to the suit being deployed for actual combat.
